« A lovely location, lodges have a large living space, kitchen is well kitted out and the bedrooms are a very good size. Hot tub was clean and a good extra for each lodge. The lodges do look a little tired inside, some new furniture would certainly enhance the look and comfort. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay. »

« We had the most relaxing stay, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The view fromChestnut lodge was superb to wake up to that view was breathtaking. We also got the most beautiful sunset pictures too. The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed. I will be recommending you to my friends! »

« Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine »

« Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. Basic toiletries (soap and showergel) were provided as were towels and bedding. tea, coffee and sugar were also there and the host provided a small pint of milk and a small pack of biscuits on arrival.
