« Beach location is good. Difficulties with opening the patio doors to the property meant that we could only open one set for much of the visit and wasted 1/2 day waiting for the maintenance man to repair them when they wouldnt lock. Property lacked some of the things usually found in rental cottages ie a fan, sufficient lighting in the living area to read in the evenings, soap sufficient for a weeks stay in all bathrooms, a guide to the property and to the location of local supermarkets etc....

« We loved our stay. The location is fantastic and for us with children being opposite the playground as well as such a short walk into town was great. Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. « We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again! »
