« Mixed review from me for this little break. Firstly, the site at Weeley Bridge is lovely, and we shall certainly return, it was peaceful and very nature friendly. « Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. « OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. « The caravan wasn’t too great to stay in as there was a musky smell and the sofa and carpet could do with a clean, there was no baking trays or grill to cook on. The fire didn’t work and the heating didn’t come on regularly. Tried to get in contact with the owner by sending a text and left a voicemail on their phone but got no response from them. There was nothing open on the site which we didn’t know about. I think it’s overpriced for nothing to do there. »

« A beautiful little van, well equipped and with a sneaky little sea view, it has everything you need for a nice break. »

« We stayed in late July at this property and had the most amazing time. The property and site in general boasts great amenities and facilities. The host was very accommodating and even helped unite us with some lost items. My one recommendation would be for the host to get slightly nicer pillows for the twin rooms. But other than that I can’t have any complaints. »
