« The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. « Location was beautiful, Check in was easy, The bar area and restaurant looked lovely as both areas had log fires roaring, and were decorated very tastefully for Christmas, which gave a lovely welcoming vibe, the room was spotless, bedding was of good quality, the room was very peaceful, with no annoying extractor fan from the bathroom, which you get in a lot of hotels, Also the room was nice and dark, which helped with a really good nights sleep. « Excellent hotel. Beautiful character room with good facilities and spotlessly clean. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially welcoming at check-in and although busy, they showed us to the room. Would definitely recommend, we will make it our go to hotel in North Yorkshire. »
