« Excellent communication with Sam before arrival.On arrival she was very welcoming.Throughout our stay she was very accommodating.Excellent local food recommendations.Really loved the fact that she does not use chlorine in her hot tubs but more environmentally and humanly friendly solutions. So nice not to stink of chlorine after using it, and skin felt so much nicer. Bed really comfy, and well equipped kitchen.Would recommend to friends. »

We watched movies in the comfy upstairs area, relaxed in the hot tub and roasted marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. Everything was clean and in good condition. « A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. It was very tranquil. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The property was clean and comfortable. Two highlights to mention. The laundry facilities were excellent. There is also a very pleasant walking path from the Stables to Shere that takes about 1 hour. For those not used to driving on narrow English roads, be sure to come in from the north through the village of Farley Green. »

« We had a really lovely time at the Shepherd's hut. The hot tub was absolutely amazing on a chilly morning and it was lovely lying in bed listening to the owls. Sam was extremely welcoming and was very eager to ensure everything was perfect which it was. Lots of great places to visit near by - we did the cuckoo trail on our bikes, seven sisters walk, long man walk and a sunset walk along pevensey bay. »

« We had a wonderful short break to Cattlestone Farm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite less than ideal weather we enjoyed a comfortable and luxurious stay and felt truly away from it all. The shepherd’s hut was nicely secluded and felt so private; it’s also set amongst the trees so we felt really connected with nature.
