« Excellent communication with Sam before arrival.On arrival she was very welcoming.Throughout our stay she was very accommodating.Excellent local food recommendations.Really loved the fact that she does not use chlorine in her hot tubs but more environmentally and humanly friendly solutions. « We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. It was very tranquil. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The property was clean and comfortable. Two highlights to mention. The laundry facilities were excellent. There is also a very pleasant walking path from the Stables to Shere that takes about 1 hour. For those not used to driving on narrow English roads, be sure to come in from the north through the village of Farley Green. »

« We had a really lovely time at the Shepherd's hut. The hot tub was absolutely amazing on a chilly morning and it was lovely lying in bed listening to the owls. Sam was extremely welcoming and was very eager to ensure everything was perfect which it was. Lots of great places to visit near by - we did the cuckoo trail on our bikes, seven sisters walk, long man walk and a sunset walk along pevensey bay. »

"Localisation parfaite à proximité de tout, chambre propre mais fuite des WC que nous avons signalé le 1er jour, frigo qui ne fonctionnait pas, petit déjeuner bon, chambre familiale vue sur l'intérieur de l'hôtel... les 2 derniers jours de notre séjour, un des ascenseurs était en panne pour descendre dans le parking et accéder côté mer en poussette où j'ai dû appeler mon conjoint afin qu'il descende porter la poussette... L' expérience aurait pu être meilleure... pour un prix avoisinant les 400e la nuit..."

"Hôtel situé dans un secteur assez central, mais pas le plus beau. Système de transport autobus fréquent et pratique à quelques minutes de marche. Accès à l’épicerie à 6 minutes à pieds. La chambre (107) n’était pas propre: cheveux au sol, traces sur la robinetterie, coulisses brunes sur le mur. La chambre serait assez grande pour avoir deux petits fauteuils, mais il n’y a qu’une chaise de bureau vraiment très vieille et inconfortable. Le drain de la douche ne fournit pas. On entend des bruits de plomberie je crois dans les murs. Bruyant la nuit quand les clients de la chambres en haut sont rentrés (on les entend marcher). Chambre et salle de bain qui ont besoin d’être rafraîchis! "

"Disappointing ! It’s Winter and the heating was switched off in our room. We switched on, set at 24 degrees and went out. 2 hours later, Little effect - hotel staff « changed the central setting « and said it would warm up soon. No it did not. And next morning it was off again. Second complaint to check out. Apologies but no thought of a gesture to show sincerity Really disapponted as am a regular traveller to Brighton - I’m sure the hotel is great if you have heat / in the summer"
