« Loved our stay! Great location, walking distance to restaurants, Abbey gardens, and shopping. Convenient on-site parking spot. Dog friendly, and a small patch of dirt outside the door for quick potty breaks (a rarity in Bury). Clean and cozy. The owner is communicative and welcoming. Definitely recommend. Note: The shower could be difficult for those with mobility issues since it’s in a step-up bathtub. »

« First, the appearance of the place seemed nice, but it was dusty and had cob webs. The old windows leaked cold air, and when we arrived, none of the radiators were on. Once we turned one on, it said the house was 10 degree Celsius- in the middle of winter - brrrr. The Cottage is also two stories, with very steep stairs. We had to leave and find another place to stay because my elderly mother couldn’t do the stairs to her bedroom and my small children couldn’t spend the night in a freezing house....
