« Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect. »

« Perfect stay in a charming cottage. Perfect location, 2 minutes walk into the town or 15 mins over to Carding Mill Valley. Deceptively spacious cottage, and very peaceful. Perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely book a return visit! »

« Overall the experience was excellent. Book the house out for a group of friends and I to stay as we all explored activities in the area. Facilities were good and the house was in great condition for us upon arrival. Stand out was the communication between us and a representative who answered all our questions and helped us with our stay. »

« The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

« Spacious cosy well equipped property, comfortable beds, great showers. Steam train at bottom of garden which was fun. Could do with an instruction booklet in the house ( as although instruction videos good) couldn’t work out how to turn on fire in large sitting room. »
