« OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. « Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. « The peaceful location was wonderful. The room was well equipped and cosy for a fabulous stay. Damien was the perfect host who made sure everything was great for us. We have already recommended to family and friends. »

« The caravan wasn’t too great to stay in as there was a musky smell and the sofa and carpet could do with a clean, there was no baking trays or grill to cook on. The fire didn’t work and the heating didn’t come on regularly. Tried to get in contact with the owner by sending a text and left a voicemail on their phone but got no response from them. There was nothing open on the site which we didn’t know about. I think it’s overpriced for nothing to do there. »

« The caravan was lovely and clean. It rained a lot so was quite muddy ourside and being new year not much was open but the caravan itself was great, would recommend anyone wanting a break away. Nice and quiet, well kept, easy to find during the day. Thank you very much »
