« House was very comfortable. Located very near to train station so very convenient. We weren't aware that the homeowners actually lived there, but they are very nice and can communicate easily via Google translate. « My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home. It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi. It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...
