« Extraordinary cottage, very well equiped, cosy and confortable.You feel at home and it is just as though Elizabeth 1st is going to knock at your door!The town itself is delicious, with nice people : we had coffee and cake when visiting the church!Also nice shops.Easy to get to London or Cambridge by train from Audley End, and last surprise : Audley End house!Thank you Deborah and Susie, we would certainly be happy to come back and tu recommend Drake cottage »

« We had a wonderful few days at The Lodge which is in a great location, secluded in the countryside and yet so near to the lovely villages of Thaxted and Saffron Walden. The lodge has been beautifully and tastefully decorated with thought being given to both comfort and practicality. Everything we could possibly have wanted was provided.
