It was absolutely perfect, and while there were numerous tourists in the daytime, many of them, taking photos of the house, come evening and morning the tourists disappeared for the most part. « Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect. »

« Our stay was delightful, Mandy our host, was so welcoming and responsive. The stable were clean and cosy, the hot tub was spot on. Our booked dinner and cake was delicious. The place was pet friendly and our dog was super happy with his stay as we went on for long walks straight from the front door. « Lovely place, with plenty of space for all 17 of us. Check in was easy, and we were grateful for the little extras that were left for us on arrival. Everything you need for a big party of you (cups, plates, glasses etc)Sightly disappointed in the rooms though. The downstairs rooms all smelt of sewage, not sure if the septic tank was due to be emptied but it wasn't pleasant! Also found that the property needed a really thorough clean. A lot of cobwebs, dust and the floors in the bathrooms...

"Hôtel dans un ancien manoir avec bcp de charme. Tout à été récemment rénové avec bcp de goût. Chambres standard de taille correcte. Belle salle d’eau. Certaines chambres donnent sur le système d’air conditionné et sont très bruyantes! Demander à changer si c’est le cas. Petit déjeuner sur commande et de bonne qualité. Dîner très correct et plats copieux. Bon rapport qualité prix. Le spa est THE SPA. Grande piscine, vraie salle de sport bien équipée et sauna, hammam. Accès d’1h inclus dans chaque chambre. L’hôtel mérite ses 4 étoiles amplement. "

"Séjour très sympathique, l'équipe est super agréable et compréhensive par rapport à notre faible aisance orale. Le petit déjeuner est incroyablement bon et vaut largement les 15£ par personne ! Dommage que l'accès à la piscine soit payant, je n'ai pas fait attention lors de ma réservation, ça reste un hôtel assez aisé."
