« The breakfast was fantastic, definitely one of the best.There was loads of choice both hot and cold. Plus the chef was more than willing to make my scrambled egg with Oat and not Cow’s milk. The property was on a bus route and the bus stop was close by. I had booked this property as I was attending the Wickham Festival and pleasantly suprised to discover that the entrance was a 12 minute walk. »

« Our stay exceeded our expectations: the staff were just wonderful. Warm, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious. And the rooms were beautifully appointed and super comfortable. It was loved by children and adults alike. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some places, but it was well worth it. We will be back. »

« Lively, friendly pub with rooms around the corner from the main High St. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value. Limited parking when busy. As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive. The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road.
