« Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. « What an amazing place this is - having never been to a lodge before I was blown away ! The atmosphere was so calm and peaceful the views were beautiful. Although it seemed so far in the middle of no where when you get there it wasn’t at all , there was so much just 5 minutes down the road , fast food , resteraunts, shops it was so convenient. « Lights not working in hot tub, told the lady who does the. checks on the Wednesday morning about it. She phoned someone whilst at our property but we did not hear anything else after that. 😳The bedroom with the single beds in, the main light did not come on. Had to slam a door to get one of the lights in the kitchen to come on and the bedroom without the en suite, the door wouldn’t stop shut. « These lodges are always very clean, unfortunately this visit was spoiled by the smell of dog, especially on the sofa. I know it is a pet lodge, but I have stayed in several of the pet lodges, even though I don't have a pet myself, and never had the smell of dog before.We also had a small invasion of ants in the bathroom, which we managed to control with some ant spray that was provided. »

"Very nice and confortable hotel, and well located. The rooms and the place itself is in a classic british style. Breakfast is very nice and it is cooked on demand, which in my opinion may be a down-side, if you're not willing to spend 45 minutes for the breakfast (which esa my case most of the days as I was in a work stay).
