« My experience at Students Only Hollis Croft was very disappointing. Despite booking well in advance, I had to follow up several times before my reservation was confirmed. On arrival, the room had multiple issues: the mattress was not just uncomfortable — it was painful to sleep on. I ended up laying on top of the duvet and even some of my clothes just to make it bearable. The pillows lacked support, the hob did not work, the kettle socket was faulty, and the tap leaked. « Good location with parking, slight issue with the parking as you are given an allocated spot but upon arrival there was a vehicle already parked in the spot, quick phone call and instructions given to park elsewhere which was fine. Entry door system was hit and miss, didn’t work upon arrival but then on return did the same thing but it worked. Stayed in a 2 bedroom but only one bathroom so if you were not from the same family it might cause a few issues. »

« It was all good. Had everything we needed. Lovely bright modern room. Most comfortable bed. Good bathroom and kitchen. Washing machine and dishwasher. Chosen because there was secure parking. Great place to meet granddaughter at Sheffield Uni. Huge choice of restaurants and takeaways on the doorstep. »
