« Indeed a cozy retreat ! »

« Lovely little cottage in perfect location. The cottage is exactly as described and is a perfect Dales base for 2 people. We booked pretty last minute for the bank holiday week in August, so we were worried about the lack of a dedicated parking space. However, we were able to park either on the road outside or in the car park round the corner every day - so not a problem at all. »

« We were absolutely delighted with the property. It’s generously appointed, supremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which was greatly appreciated. As regular visitors to Grassington we very much hope to stay here again. »

« This property was well position in Skipton. We stayed here whilst attending a family wedding and it was perfect for our needs and accessible to all the places we needed to be. »

« Booked for the three peaks challenge and were absolutely delighted. The property is in the best location for one of the startinf ajsbfonishing points of the three peaks challenge. I would happliy return and spend longer withiut the hike as the property is absolutely chaeming. Sad to leave! »

« Came to settle for some 3 peaks hiking and to meet up with old friends for joint birthday celebrations. Woodstock cottage was ideally located for train travel with substantial baggage. The cottage was great, had everything needed for my 5 night stay. Loved the reclining sofa, fully equiped kitchen, comfy beds and bathtub. Kate was a great host and added thoughtful extra touches like milk in the fridge and a small welcome hamper. Could not have had a better stay in this value for money cottage. »

« I had a worry that the cottage might be a little small but we had loads of room due to the layout being over three floors. The decor was smart and we had everythign we needed. It was very hot the day we arrived so it was particularly good to have the lounge in the basement. A few little niggles, none of them dealbreakers. There was a lot of noise from the pub at the back on Saturday night, which was annoying. While everything was very clean, the towels smelled a little musty. Parking was a...

« We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return! »

« The Flaggs is a special place. Its old world charm is complemented with modern comfortable beds and lovely pillows. Although small it contains everything one needs for a 5 night stay.It is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the river to Settle station from where you can take the scenic Settle to Carlisle line to enjoy splendid views of the Yorkshire Dales or do excellent circular or linear walks.We would stay at the Flaggs again. »

« The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. Nobody has contacted me either which I would...
