« On arrival I found the key safe situated very low on the wall & difficult to operate. A kind passer by assisted ne. Inside it was warm, cozy & exceptionally clean. Large fluffy towels were provided and the beds extremely comfortable with plenty of hot water. However,, I found the freezer desperately needed defrosting. The dishwasher was filthy. The oven so dirty it set the fire alarms off. The washing machine door would not open & was subsequently found to be broken. The only usable...

« Although we enjoyed our stay at the Dairy it should not be advertised as 4 guests in one bedroom there is only one double bed and this was disappointing. The traffic was very noisy and the road was too dangerous for walking. »

« This accommodation is sub-par. Although clean enough, it is badly lit and care worn. We had no landing light all week and when we changed the bulb, it still wouldn't work. All the bedding needs replacing as it is thin and old and there is a horrible rusty old loo roll holder in the bathroom which needs throwing out. The place is generally badly lit ans gloomy. It feels like nobody cares about the place or about the poor people who spend their main holiday of the year there... We had to wade...

« This property is very comfortable, spacious and local. Clear instructions on how to get there. Well equipped with plenty of saucepans and cutlery. There were a few observations - not criticisms - which could be born in mind if the property is booked for next Xmas: There were 5 of us cooking an Xmas meal and NY meal - there was only one roasting tin, and one oven glove (I had packed extra as this has happened to me before in a rental) No instructions handy for WiFi code (we found it though!)...

« a lovely house, with plenty of off road parking spaces, a few meters away from the beach. We loved the possibility of just popping out to sea for a quick morning swim or a run along the shore, and then come back to the house for a breakfast al fresco in the secluded garden. »

« The reason for the visit was to attend some family and friends events. This was made complete by the quality of our accomodation at Sparrow Cottage.
