« Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again. »

« a lovely house, with plenty of off road parking spaces, a few meters away from the beach. We loved the possibility of just popping out to sea for a quick morning swim or a run along the shore, and then come back to the house for a breakfast al fresco in the secluded garden. »

« We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

« My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Tern Cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a longer stay (washing machine was particularly useful). We also had mid stay housekeeping which we were very impressed with. The location of the Cottage is extremely close to all the shops, seafront, park and train station. « If you book this we will be jealous as we have had a fabulous time here, 8 minutes walk to beach 15 minutes to station/town, very quiet location wonderful neighbours, lovely sunny garden, heating worked lovely, obviously some minor maintenance needed but nothing to worry about or get in the way of your stay. « Lovely house and will stay again - just missing some small touches like washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel which we are used to in most Air B & B we stay at - almost like a small welcome pack. Location wise was perfect for us - local pub and lovely beach all within walking distance. »

« A deceptively large house which has been beautifully updated. The back dining/kitchen area is lovely. Cute courtyard garden. The car park space is very small and difficult to access. Very close to town centre which was great. Easy to walk into town. Would stay again. »

« Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for...
