It is situated across the road from a lovely park and duck pond, in a very quiet area. The perfect property for complete rest and relaxation. We cannot praise it enough and hope its available when we stay on the island again. »

Die Zufahrtsbeschreibung war etwas verwirrend, da ein teil der Strasse durch ein permanents Tor gesperrt ist. ein Nachbar gab Auskunft, wie das Haus zu erreichen wäre. Die Beschreibung zum Finden des Schlüsselsafes war ebenfalls nicht korrekt, wir haben lange an der Rückseite des Hauses (wie beschrieben) gesucht, jedoch befindet sich die Schlüsselbox vorne im Vorraum. Der Pflegezustand des Hauses und des Grundstücks ist eher mittelmässig. Da...

Lovely comfortable furniture in the large lounge. It is just a short walk into the village of East Wittering where there is a really good variety of shops and places to eat. « Do NOT stay at this property - I would go as far to say that I would not stay at any property managed by Henry Adams. There was a large blob of blood, yes blood!, in the crockery drawer right by the plates. Crumbs in the fridge, black mould on the freezer door seal, cobwebs in every room, filthy dirty pole to open roof windows (covered in black dirt), upper floor toilet was leaking, the hairdryer was covered in dirt and the back of its filter was completely clogged and not safe to use, cracked...

« LR/Kitchen/Dining layout is practical and comfortable. It would be nice to have cooking oil and a few other things like that ready to use. »

« The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

« Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather. Hope to come back one day … »
