« As soon as we entered the lodge, it was warm, cosy, even with a Christmas tree lit up, a cake on the side, milk & Prosecco in the fridge, lots of tea coffee sugar & a warm welcome text message asking if everything was ok. It was beautiful & clean so peaceful. The hot tub was boiling & amazing & cleaned every day without disturbing us. Nothing was too much trouble. « Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine »
