District de Braintree : Lodges

« The Hot Tub was not in use, even though I paid for it I’m still waiting for a refund »

« Quite site good for a short break away, east access to nice walk along the beach. »

« We had a lovely three day break, the accommodation is perfect and offers some great walks in the country. We would definitely recommend the lodges to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing break. »

« Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. The fridge also didn’t work (have informed host and...

« Mixed review from me for this little break. Firstly, the site at Weeley Bridge is lovely, and we shall certainly return, it was peaceful and very nature friendly. The restaurant does lovely food, not too bad on prices either, staff are very friendly and helpful and the swimming pool area is ultra clean. Top marks for the Park Dean site at Weeley Bridge. « The caravan wasn’t too great to stay in as there was a musky smell and the sofa and carpet could do with a clean, there was no baking trays or grill to cook on. The fire didn’t work and the heating didn’t come on regularly. Tried to get in contact with the owner by sending a text and left a voicemail on their phone but got no response from them. There was nothing open on the site which we didn’t know about. I think it’s overpriced for nothing to do there. »

« The peaceful location was wonderful. The room was well equipped and cosy for a fabulous stay. Damien was the perfect host who made sure everything was great for us. We have already recommended to family and friends. »
