« Staff on checking in were polite and dhowed us toom and facilities. Room was small , clean but personally it wasnt eorth the price we were charged. Booked breakfast but was informed it wasn't available until 8.30am and ee had to leave earlier than that do even thought id osud extra gor breakfast and fid inform thrn upon arrival, we werent offered reductions. »

« It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night. »

« Horrible experience. They gave me the wrong code for the lock box so I wasn’t able to get in until 645 pm. The place was a mess as well. When I finally got into my room it reeked of weed. When I told them about this they told me just to light a candle. I left and asked for a refund immediately, and they stopped responding until Expedia got involved. Then they eventually denied it. « Lovely stay at Kingscroft hotel, very peaceful location, check in was quick greeted by Wol on arrival ( such a lovely host) & taken to our room which was clean, big & exceptionally clean. Lots of extras including plenty of towels, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuits. Bed was very comfy & bathroom was modern with great shower. 10 minutes to walk to centre of Buxton Breakfast , we aren’t vegetarian but my goodness we didn’t miss the usual bacon/ sausages! It was large excellently...

« Strange share house kind of arrangement. When we arrived someone seemed to be cooking in the kitchen which was very cluttered. The towels were oversized hand towels we found in the wardrobe. There were a pair of thongs under the small desk and a tshirt in the draw. The bed was very soft. »

« Really good communication with Alex. The property was as stated in the description. We were a family of 7 adults so the living/eating space was a bit limited but we were out much of the time. A really quick walk into Buxton which is lovely »

« We arrived for our stay at the property and hadn’t received the password for the lock box in order to enter the property. After numerous phone calls were ignored by the owners we had to resort to sleeping at the train station. »
