District de Amber Valley : Chalets

« The perfect place to go when you need some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. »

« Kitchen area needs smartening up, tired Doors but still usable »

« As we were only there for two days, the value for money was scored as a 4*. This is because a week (7-days would have been only a little more, The fixtures and fittings were lovely, however there were some areas (i.e. bathroom) that did not appear to be well laid out for practical use. »

« Apart from the couple of issues I will list, the place is near perfect….. Badger Lodge 30Slight imperfections are that the hoover in the property really smelt awful when used, we had to air the lodge for a good hour to clear the smell. The seals on the appliances are peeling away revealing grime, possibly fix or replace the fridge/freezer.No hot tub lid opener which meant it took 2 of us to lift the lid off and on everytime we wanted to use it, not ideal if I wanted to use the hot tub in early...

« Lovely lodge in the middle of the woods. WiFi only when purchased. No signal. Total rest. Piece and quite with massive jacuzzi »

« Lovely relaxing place.Accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing. staff check chlorine levels every morning. Only one slight peave is there is only 4 of each item in kitchen (cutlery and crockery) which made running dishwasher pointless. needs maybe 2 more of each. »

« Amazing lodge with lots of little extras the owners have thought about everything you could possibly need. You won’t be disappointed if you stopped here it’s a perfect location to explore Derbyshire or to just chill out at the actual lodge. We didn’t want to leave, thank you for a lovely holiday. »

« Perfect for a short break with the family. Lovely living space and comfortable bedrooms. Really well appointed kitchen with everything needed. »

« As soon as we entered the lodge, it was warm, cosy, even with a Christmas tree lit up, a cake on the side, milk & Prosecco in the fridge, lots of tea coffee sugar & a warm welcome text message asking if everything was ok. It was beautiful & clean so peaceful. The hot tub was boiling & amazing & cleaned every day without disturbing us. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for the WiFi & a late checkout over a text on 2 separate occasions and had a reply within seconds. This is the second time we...

« Lodges were amazing! Location, cleanliness, all mod cons and we couldn't have asked for anything else. All facilities provided, hot tub was an added bonus and little luxuries of shampoos, cereals, teas, coffees, and lovely bottle of Prosecco, went down a treat! Hosts were lovely, warm and couldn't have provided anything more. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to go back. 5*'s plus much more. »

« The lodge was warm and cosy, it had everything you needed and more. We had a lovely welcome hamper loved the rubber duck!. It was very private around the hottub area loads of little birds visited. It was very quiet we really didn't know we had anyone around us. »
