« Stayed 2 nights with husband and 2 kids while visiting Mackinac Island. The hotel is an excellent location. While there is a free shuttle available to take you to one of the ferry docks, it is a quick 10 minute walk, so we walked there and back. There a few dining options and an ice cream shop nearby within walking distance as well, although most seem to close early in the evenings. The hotel is a collection of 4 hotel buildings (all named after the great lakes) and the Reception/pool building....

« This hotel is older, but it is well maintained and clean. The one suggestion I would make is to let people know when you check in that house keeping has to be requested. »

« We really like this hotel, it's in the heart of downtown Mackinac Island, so it was the perfect place to regroup between biking around the island, shopping or going out to eat. Our view wasn't the greatest, as we had a room that looked out over an alley and nearby houses, but we weren't in the room that much that it made a big difference. The price was reasonable which was an added bonus. »
