« We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend »

« We like Seckford Hall for it's traditional ambience and previously had stayed here in 1977 for the Aldeburgh Festival - we found the programme for the year we had attended at the Red House in Aldeburgh. Our visit this time was to see the site of the historical dig at Sutton Hoo. The hotel is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. There have been a few changes in 50 years and the hotel is well used as a wedding venue. Occasionally there was disco music until midnight but it did not...

« Had a great stay, had a lovely welcome, really comfy bed in a lovely cottage suite (room 11). Had everything you could need for a self catering stay. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Car parking included was a bonus. Would highly recommend with only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Would definitely stay again »
