« We have just had the most incredible stay since the minute we arrived on Friday. The staff couldnât be more helpful or friendly. Jasmine in the Spa is deserving of a special mention. As someone who rarely gets treatments, I was very unsure of myself she immediately put me at ease as well as delivering the most relaxing salt scrub. « We were disappointed by the experience. We were in a sort of prefab building overlooking the car park. The insulation was very poor, both thermal and acoustic. The bathroom tap didn't fit the basin. The electronic shower system didn't work properly, which led to wasted water. The only positive point of the stay was the staff: very friendly and pleasant. »

« I've been to Ayr many times but this was our first time at Daviot's. We were greeted warmy by Linda, who showed us to our room on the middle floor. While there were four rooms at the top of the stairs, we never heard another soul during our four day stay. The bed was comfortable and the recommendations for dining excellent. »

« Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The whole property was spotless, the facilities were beautiful, the room was probably the nicest one we have ever stopped in, furnished to an extremely high standard and so comfortable.
Honestly, donât even think about looking for somewhere else in the areaâŠyou will not find better!!
Oh yes, the homemade marmalade at breakfast is to die for too!!! »
