« I arrived Kate after a wedding party so I didn't have time to adequately review the property and it's amenities, however the room was large and warm, the bed was comfortable. It was a little outdated in terms of decor but overall the stay was pleasant. »

« Excellent hotel with good bar food and restaurant options.The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Next to good hiking trails in the beautiful Ribble Valley Only downside was the rooms on the ground floor get some noise from creaking floors from the rooms above. Last visit was particularly bad because there was a wedding reception so the noise from the floor above went on very late. »

« The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. My partner sampled the local beer and was pleased he did. Although a full breakfast was on offer we just had a yoghurt & some toast. The toast...
