« We had a great time staying at Amaranta, very friendly and smily staff always trying to make us feel welcomed and ready to help. Facilities are always clean, rooms are large and very clean, very comfortable bed, the only thing I would say it wasnt that great is the AC going from 0 to hero but it works! The food at the restaurant was really good. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxed staying. »

« Le Signature est une partie de l'hotel Amaya Lake, ce sont des bungalows ou villa. Nous avions une tres grande chambre, avec comme sur certaines photos un canapé petit coin salon tres agreable. Dressing et grande salle de bain, comme trop souvent au Sri Lanka les climatisations sont bruyantes et toujours trop froide. « We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Governor's Gargula. We received excellent service from the staff and the food was exceptional. The hotel is located about 6 Km outside of Dambulla and used this hotel as a base to visit many of the sites in the area (Dambula Caves, Sigiriya (Lion's) Rock, and Ruins of Polonnaruwala). Not really walkable to anywhere but most of these sites have to be driven to anyway. I would highly recommend this hotel. »

« Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here. »

« We were upgraded to a deluxe room with lake view. The room is clean and spacious with mini bar, air con, large TV and a super big bathroom. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He offered our driver accommodation and meal during the stay. The location is not the best, around 15-min drive from Dambulla. Not a problem for us as we hired a car throughout the trip. "Il y a toujours un tuktuk pour vous enmener dans les petits restaurants situé à proximité. Piscine sympa, restaurant sympa par contre le dernier jour, un employé est rentré dans ma chambre quand nous étions au petit déjeuner, mon chauffeur qui m'attendait l'a vu rentrer et il n'avait rien à y faire. Je n'ai pas constaté de vol mais cela ne m'a pas plu."
