« as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special »

« A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...

« Excellent service, location and staff »

« Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough. »

« Hote tres serviable et accueillant. Deux chambres uniquement tranquillité assuree. Lion's rock tres proche. Excellente cuisine »

« Équipe dispo et souriante ses clients. »

« Warm welcome, beautiful room with view on the garden (you cannot see the rock from this place even if not far). Home-made dinner, it was good and big quantities. Palitha was like a mother during our stay, and gave us good advice to visit Sigiriya. De recommend this place ! »

« Sigiriya Village is a beautiful place with a splendid view. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. However, the hotel is very large with many guests, which could feel a bit overwhelming, and the breakfast was rather average »

« They made me wait for 45min because they couldn't confirm my booking with expedia they could have give me the room and check that by themselves since the booking is already confirmed. »

« We stayed one night only at FWV and we recommand it for sure. First the staff was great: helpful and friendly! Second the Hotel is well located: 5 minutes to go to the Lion's Rock with a tuktuk. And We caught a bus to Dambulla right in front of the main entrance. Last but not least: what a pleasure to enjoy the pool by 37 degrees outside! Thanks for this stay »
