« This property is beautiful, we all wished we could stay longer and just enjoy the deck and fire pit a little more. House is very clean. Beds were comfortable. Be aware the bunk beds are not in a room, they're under the stairs, so not a lot of privacy. There were 8 of us in the house and it was snug-I don't think having the 16 it says it can accommodate would be comfortable. The owner is extra communicative. « My husband and I stayed a couple nights at this cozy rustic cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much. The air conditioning was superb. The cottage had a cabin feel outside and a home feel with all amenities inside. The ambiance and decorations were delightful. Full kitchen and able to cook meals for breakfast and dinner. Approximately 20 minute drive away from Mammoth Cave National Park. Host was available onsite but we had privacy. »

« Clean, nice home perfectly located close to Mammoth cave and all activities in the area. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare simple meals. Loved the board games for the evenings and rainy day with the kids. Made us feel right at home. »

« Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway. »

« Cabin offered relaxation in a quiet setting. Close to Mammoth Caves and all local attractions. Loved eating breakfast every morning at Blue Holler Cafe. »

« Quiet and peaceful stay in a cute cabin. Would have preferred some better skillets and knives for that last star in the rating! Would stay there again. Very comfortable bed! »

« Absolutely loved everything about this place. Only issue was locating it GPS doesn’t get you there but once I talked to the host found it no problem. »

« The host and property were amazing. The host thought of every little detail to make our Stay feel comfortable and like a home away from home. Our eight-year-old son enjoyed the playground, the pond where he caught serval fish (catch and release), boar games and so much more. We look forward to staying again at the end of the summer. »

« Loved this spot on the lake! Clean, kept up, private and easy process to check in and out. Its a little far from mammoth cave and the attractions but it is priced lower than places right next to mammoth cave. We were also traveling with two dogs, so that limited places we could stay. Sadly the Nolan preserve right next to here is closed due to flooding at this time. But I bet that is a beautiful place to take the kids and pets. »

« This little place was exactly as advertised. Some nice charm to it!Like most little houses, don't expect much privacy from your travel mates, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If your neighbors are out at their fire pit during your stay, you'll likely want to give them a wave since it's rather close. Think of it like camping! Overall a very nice piece of property and great place to call home while visiting sites in...

« Kids loved the swimming and the boat, the dog loved the lake, and the older people enjoyed the quiet. It was pefect! »

« For anyone wanting a get away from the chaos of society, this house has what your looking for. This fully furnished house has the utensil and everyday needs to make getting away simple all you need is your suitcase!. The house has amazing wood work throughout the house giving you that cabin on the lake vibe, nestled along the lake. My family and i absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away! »

« Great Cabin but not a cozi cabin, no cleaning supplies such as mop,toilet cleaners, no oven mits. Very dirty stove and oven. The cabin is great it lacks the little things that make you feel at home. »

« It was really a great place, although the cleaner I believe it was, left soda on the table and the closet door open with keys in the lock and a pile bedding on one of the beds, just fyi. But very nice place! There is a dip in the driveway that is a bit hard on the car. But thanks for the nice place. »

« It’s right on the Lake and there’s a boat ramp right next to the property. It was the perfect size for us and had all we needed. We suggest you get your supplies on the way out!It’s a drive to anywhere. We were there for Mammoth National Park, it’s a shorter drive if the ferry is open. We couldn’t figure out the tv’s though, and the outside of the property is a bit of a mess, but overall we enjoyed our stay. »

« Cabin was really nice. You can tell the owner has put effort into making a nice stay. Wish the roads and location was a little better. Neighbors too close and roads are rough. »

« Lovely location and easy communication with host. Listing a bit outdated on VBRO, ie we never could find the ironing board) and google maps references had wrong address. Sleeps 8 but we did not see dishes for 8. Cooking utensils were flimsy. Hot water heater is small, having to wait between showers. Overall 3.4 to 4 star. Would stay there again. »
