« Traveling for a family event in the area. Staff was ok. Room was barely adequate, very run down. Tub wasnt the cleanest and very dingy and old. What was horrible was the room next to me had two large dogs who barked alot and the occupants came in after midnight they were extremely loud, dogs barking, yelling, banging doors it kept me up most of the night both nights. Then I attempted to have breakfast on Saturday and they were out of mostly everything at 9:15 They opened at 9. Would not stay...

« What a wonderful vacation! We missed our family reunion on the Suwannee for a couple of years at another location because the house was sold. Then we found the Malecot house…and what a find! What a wonderful place to kick back and relax! Fishing, boating, and just a short ride to the springs. And those sturgeon! Never saw so many jumping! « A nice little getaway for a couple of days - great change of pace.While we didn’t bring children, I could see this an ideal place to bring kids and/or a large family to have plenty of space. Our dog (passed after we booked it) would have loved the ability to roam around in a gated area.Owner was very attentive. A tree fell on the wood bridge to the river right before we arrived and she had it fixed within the hour. »
