« Was a fun place to stay. Though they really did crank the heat during our Thanksgiving stay. My 80 year old mother found it quite nice. My 50 year old wife did not. So it is all subjective. Neat hotel. Coffee in the morning, thank God. »

« this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future. »

« I enjoyed my time at the hotel. We did upgrade and change rooms due to wanting a bigger bed. That was all taken care of before we got there. The innkeeper gave us a tour of the hotel and was very knowledgeable. of the history of the island and recommendations of what I was looking for. There is an oversized swing on the porch that I took a nap on. I loved this hotel, and the bar, and the restaurant. I loved the toiletries in the room. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The unit was all as advertised. Very clean. My only suggestion would be to have lights on when you enter and a fresh smell. It was a little dark with a musty closed up smell therefore the first impression was not the best. Once we were there and turned on lights, opened up the windows, turned on fans it was very nice with lots of books and games. Loved itâŁïžBeautiful sunrisesâŁïž »
