« Wow! This place exceeded our expectations on every level. Nat provided us with excellent communication and made us feel very welcome. The inside of the cabin was something you would expect to see in a movie! It was very warm, peaceful, and all appliances/necessities/utensils were provided.When we couldn’t get the fireplace to work the first evening, Nat has a service person in the very next morning to have it fixed.A great all-around experience. »

« Loved the full kitchen, bbq, outdoor seating and the beach, including kayaks and canoes. The cBin was perfect for our needs. I was surprised about bringing all my own linens , including blankets. I wish that prt had been communicated more than 2 days before the trip- including the blanket piece, as I didn’t think a blanket was considered linens and had a couple cold nights. « I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage. »

I think any group that books this place will have a good time.I would recommend being aware of how much hot water is being used. « Very clean and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a really great time with our friends. Would definitely recommend for a simple and very quiet getaway! Beautiful deck to sit and eat overlooking the pond. The host was very nice and was prompt with her responses for all of the questions we had. Will definitely return! »

The cottage location is also good - there are at least 4 towns and villages within less than 40 mins drive, not counting the Kinmount. The Kinmount itself is a place with a rich history, and there is a location there that you should visit and its just 10 mins walking from the cottage -the Highland Cinemas. « 5 of us stayed at the house and it was a great choice to book here. Check in was easy, the house had plenty of space for us to all sit at the table or in the lounge room. The kitchen had most everything needed (measuring cups would be my suggestion). Everything was very clean, bathrooms were well stocked. No complaints at all. Loved the fire pit even though it rained. "Nous avons passé deux nuits en famille (couple et un enfant de deux ans). La chambre a une taille normale pour ce type d'hôtel, et nous ne nous attendions pas à plus. Les choses qui étaient pour nous moins bien : la moquette au sol dans la chambre ; pas de mouchoirs dans la boîte de mouchoirs de la SDB ; la salle du petit déjeuner ne peux pas accueillir tout le monde et il faut attendre ou bien manger debout (ou dans sa chambre). A part ça, c'est bien placé, et très correct pour un séjour dans l'Algonquin."
