« The only problems we had was that our room phone was not plugged in, the alarm clock was preset to a very early alarm and the TV was not easy to figure out. Thankfully Reed at the front desk in the evenings was extremely kind and helpful with the TV. The restaurant was closed which would have been helpful the night it stormed as we couldn't go to a restaurant with our dog. Other than that, the resort was beautiful and I highly recommend staying there ! »

« When you visit Blowing Rock you have to stay at the Embers. It’s our favorite get away-located on the corner of Main Street you can easily walk anywhere-to the restaurants, shops, museum etc. The rooms and public areas are immaculate, beds and linens inviting and comfortable, rain showers with all the immensities, beautiful towels, staff is friendly and you get the feeling they love working there(thats important) all rooms have balconies-great restaurant and bar area inside as well as outside...

« Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...

« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « Visiblement ancien Motel 6 devenu Sleep Inn depuis peu. Hôtel propre, check in avec Steve qui a parlé lentement pour que l'on comprenne 👍. Pas très moderne mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut, laundry et chariot à bagages très pratique. Il y a une armoire dans la chambre, ce qui peut être un plus si vous restez plusieurs jours, par contre la salle de bain est un peu petite si vous êtes quatre, mais à deux c'est suffisant. « This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

« Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and cozy. There was plenty of parking which can be tricky in Blowing Rock, especially on holiday weekends. It's close to everything downtown and walkable, though the walk may be difficult for some. Downtown is up the hill from The Manor. Check if your room has a Keurig and plan accordingly, because coffee wasn't available in the lobby when I checked. Maybe because it was the weekend. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and I highly recommend The Manor. »
