« It was a short stay but would stay longer if the opportunity would arise. The chickens greeted us and they are beautiful. The place was very lovely and clean. Great place to visit. If you are from the city, you would enjoy the country. »

« We arrived and found out that Gavin Cabin had no electricity and no running water. In order to use the bathroom you had to go to a community one. I did not read anything telling me that it was a primitive cabin. We were not very happy when we had to find another place to stay for the night »

« Cute cozy mountain cabin surrounded by nature---remote yet close to town. Small , but very functional . Has a warm and inviting decor. Lots of mountain and rustic touches. Well stocked kitchen and great deck for hanging out in nature. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would like to rent this property again in the future. Our fur babies liked it too!!! »

« The cabin was fantastic. It was clean and well stocked. The view was great. The bath house was clean. I only have two complaints. The bath house was up a very steep hill. That needs to be included in the description as I’ve had a knee injury and wasn’t prepared for the very steep climb about 100 yards to the bath house. And the heater didn’t work. We could get the pilot light on but it wouldn’t stay on when switching to a heating mode. The cabin is clearly new so just small things to update....

« The owners do stay upstairs. Think it is good to make sure that the places taken care of better. There's a motherly feel with the property. Like somebody really was trying to take care of you making sure everything you need is there. Call the little things like extra things in the bathroom and kitchen even a really nice big TV. And it's very safe driving up the road to the cabin. I had a problem with another place I have a leave early cuz I could not drive up there so dangerous. It's actually...

« Perfect. Fresh, beautiful, and a location to realllllly relax in. The yard with a stream, places to kick back and listen to the birds and water. All our waking indoor time was spent in the sunroom.. it is so sweet. Can't wait to go back! And the hosts are friendly, helpful, but not around otherwise. »
