« This cottage is bright, spacious, very clean and well laid out with all the amenities one could want. It’s easy to find and check-in is a breeze. The property is quiet and at night there’s no city lights to obstruct star gazing. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. »

« Nice place. Stayed during a time when it was quite hot and we were happy to have the air conditioning. Lots of space. Shower a tad on the small side but we were only there 2 nights so no big deal. Nice pathway off the back yard. Owners have done a good job. »

« Overall impression was very good- I was a little concerned with communication as I expected to hear from owner or VRBO a little earlier. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The cottage was very clean - there was a wet spot in the downstairs twin bedroom carpet but dried as we were there. The beach is close by and quite a nice area to swim. Overall we had a lovely vacation. »

« My family thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment on Sproat Lake. We kyaked, swam, hiked and fished with a nearby Charter based out of Port Alberni. A great Fall weekend get-away for couples and families alike. The hostess, Julie, was incredibly welcoming and accomodating! « My husband and I enjoyed exploring the coastal beaches, visiting pleasant nearby towns, and hiking near Mt. Washington. All short distances from "The Nest". We enjoyed meeting host Mylissa who was eager to make our visit enjoyable and communication easy. The "nest" was more spacious and open than suggested by the photos and was very up-to-date in all appliances, light fixtures, mattresses, linens, etc. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Made our visit a pleasure. »

« A great place to go with little kids. They loved feeding the horses next door apples and watching the chickens run around. The creek was very peaceful. Lots to explore in the area. Everything went great with check in. We very much appreciated the early check in and late check out. Hope to come back sometime! »

« Spacious, clean, comfortable house. Every amenity in the house, kitchen was fully equipped. Only downside was the traffic noise from the road behind the house but that generally settled down by 11 pm, but started up again by 6 am. Just fine probably if you are not a light sleeper. Never needed the air conditioning as the breeze off the water kept the house cool even on the warmest days. The beach has some small rocks at the high tide line but alter that it is all sand, truly amazing. »

« La maison est super bien située pour organiser les visites sur l'île. Elle se trouve au bord d'un bras de mer dans un joli coin avec des espaces vert vraiment très calme. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine et la maison est très bien organisée avec beaucoup de place. Je recommande vivement! »
