As a vegan company we try to make it clear that all of the products we provide are vegan. We have almond and soy as alternatives for people who can’t use oat. We encourage people to reach out during their stay if there is anything we can do to improve your experience.

We’re sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations. We try to be very clear about our offer. It would be helpful to know what differed in your experience from the details on the booking site and our own website. Our rooms are small and cannot accommodate two chairs due to fire code. We do not provide additional glasses in order to reduce unnecessary cleaning of thinks that may or may not have been used. We are reviewing this. We purchase only plant milk products that are shelf stable and we are sorry that your milk had exceeded its best before date. We try not to needlessly dispose of safe products but would always encourage guests to reach out with unsatisfactory experiences.

Thanks for your review, we’re really glad you found our offer worked for you. We love our canine guests and we only charge for the extra work created by their stay (room fogging, carpet shampooing and curtain changes take us just over an hour on top of our regular cleaning protocol). We hope your doggo loved their stay too!

We hope that was a nice surprise! Dawson city is a very cool place and embodies both the spirit of the "Klondike Gold Rush" and the heritage of our First Nation citizens. We've tried to bring a little bit of that into our space with a combination of old and new, industrial and natural. Sometimes walking around town you feel like you're in a film set, but we hope our cozy little retreat gave you somewhere comfortable to rest your head and relax.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Coffee and tea are an absolute must for us when we travel so we aim to make sure our guests have the things we look for. A comfy bed and a good shower, also very important for recovering after a busy day of Dawson City activities.

I have no idea why you had a survey in Spanish as none of us speak, read or write Spanish. We will investigate. We’re pleased that the room met your needs and we can certainly relocate the fridge for those guests who need it. We worked hard to find the sheets because it’s something that really bothers us when we stay in hotels with scratchy linens. We’re pleased you approve. We always look to stand out from the crowd and do something a little different, our interior design styles aren’t necessarily everyone’s cup of tea but we’re glad you like it. Sadly we can’t do anything about our room sizes. We can try to make it more noticeable with Expedia how big the rooms are so guests can make a more informed choice in the future. The bathroom fan isn’t a bathroom fan as you might expect. It is an exhaust vent for a central ventilation system, that means that when you press the boost button on the wall, the system increased the airflow through the whole building for about 20 minutes. You shouldn’t hear any increase in noise - noisy bathroom fans are one our pet peeves so we removed that from our design when we renovated. The airflow near to the end of the bed is something we can fix though. We are going to install a different type of grill that allows the airflow to be better directed. I’m sorry this work wasn’t able to be completed for your stay.

We're so pleased you had a great sleep, for us it's one of the most important things about a hotel room and we spent a lot of time choosing the right mattress for the job. We're pleased it paid off.
We tried to make the best of the small space available to us for this renovation and small but perfectly formed was our ambition.
We always to try be responsive to guests and we think we're nice people so we're pleased you did too. It was great hosting you the first time and to get a second chance was fab. All the best!

Clean is one of the most important things in a hotel room, especially during these times of heightened infection awareness. We're happy we got this right as we spend a lot of time and attention on making sure our guests have a safe stay.
We have small rooms and we can't change that. This is a renovated heritage building with limitations on what is possible. We think that we have been creative with this space and made the most of what we have to work with.
There were 3 garbage bins in the room (2 in the bedroom and one on the bathroom), You even declined the offer to empty these.
It's disappointing that you thought we were not accommodating or responsive to your needs. We responded to all your messages and calls within a few minutes if not immediately. We explained why there was only 1 chair in the room - our rooms are small and additional furniture would constitute a safety hazard for evacuation if there were a fire. However if we had another chair, we would have provided it. We have 10 rooms and 10 chairs. We did offer to bring a stool from home but informed you we would need to get approval from officials to vary our fire plan first.
I think that perhaps we were not the right choice for your stay and for that I apologise. We would love to host you again but maybe with more accurate expectations of what Dawson Lodge is and what it isn't.
