« Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. « Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! This was our first experience in an off-the-grid property.Though the property is a bit in the woods and off the grid, it was comfortable for five of us to spend four nights. It was warm and well-maintained. The kitchen was convenient for making a Thanksgiving meal. There are trails nearby for some hiking or trail running. I wouldn't mind staying at this property again. « Perfect place for a family of four. We went on a rainy weekend and thought it was perfect. Looking out the huge windows to the beautiful trees with the lake poking through. The hot tub surround by cafe lights. It was peaceful. Far enough to be secluded but close enough to adventure to the cute little town of Nevada City. Plenty to explore and plenty to do. Easy and constant contact with host made the process easy. Jon was great. This house was great. »
