« I come to Sacramento quite a bit for work and while there are plenty of hotels in the depths of downtown and along the Sacramento waterfront there are not a whole lot of options near the Capital and other state agency building. The Sterling is AWESOME for an affordable boutique stay in a very walkable and lovely part of town where accommodations are limited. I plan on making this my regular spot to stay when I'm in Sacramento. »

« Great location overall, but the stay was not exactly what we expected. The window AC units struggled to keep up, and it was only the beginning of the hot season. Arriving on a day over 90 to a very hot house was honestly miserable. We ended up having to leave the first evening just to give the window units time to cool the place down before we could comfortably return.Most nights, after being out and about during the day getting our things done, the apartment would still be very warm despite the...

« We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The space had everything we needed for a family trip, from a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms to cozy bedrooms. Communication with the host was smooth with all the info we needed for checkin and checkout. The neighborhood seems safe and family friendly.We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place in the area! »

« Communication with Marco, our host, was always pleasant and very prompt. We had a wonderful stay. Marco’s house was a home away from home. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The arcade games and backyard shared in creating fond memories with my 2 1/2 yr grandson. The couch in the living room has been well-loved. I would switch the couch in the hallway with this one but that would be my only recommendation. I look forward to bringing my family back again. »
