While the owner's kept to themselves allowed us a feeling of isolation and quiet, it was good to know they were nearby in case we needed anything. « Wonderful stay. House looks small from the outside, but rooms are spacious. Good size kitchen with good space to cook and bathroom with dual sinks, jetted tub and walk in shower. « We had the most amazing and relaxing weekend in Nevada City thanks to Lorrie and her lovely hospitality. She is the best host! This was the cleanest, beautiful little home we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Everything is modern, comfortable and perfect. Stay here if you want a serene getaway with every amenity. « Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch! »
