« I have passed through Auburn many times on the way to the Sierras. We had a concert date at Thunder Valley Casino and also wanted to enjoy the countryside for the weekend, Auburn was a perfect weekend getaway and the apartment was an excellent hub for relaxing while enjoying the surroundings, just steps away from great restaurants and shopping, very spacious, clean and roomy with plenty of room to spread out. »

« I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville. »
