« A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. « A beautiful place to stay. We watched waves every day which grew from 1 to 7 feet. The sunrises were beautiful. We drove through State Parks to see beautiful Fall colors. The house was perfectly clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfy. The fireplace was warm and toasty with a great ambiance. Just a great place to get away and relax. « There was a terrible smell in the house. Smelled smoky, even though there were "No Smoking" signs posted in several places. I bought a neutralizing spray and used it every time we entered and exited. It helped a little. Beds were comfortable. We were cold the first night because I didn't know right away how to adjust the thermostat. Shower was new and nice. We arrived in the dark and there was a couple of "scary" people on the front steps. It felt safer in the daylight. »

« What a special place! If you are a fan of Lake Michigan it would be hard to find a better spot to enjoy it. The cabin is so charming and the view/access to the beach is perfect. We had our dogs with us and the completely fenced deck was such a great amenity. Everything was very clean and well stocked. If possible we will stay here again. We enjoyed this home and its location very very much. »

« Our stay was awesome. The house has so much charm and so much seating! Ha! Loved the beach to swim and hang but the water was too seaweedy to swim in off the dock. Also wished the SUP’s held air as a kid was stranded on the water in a folded paddleboard. Lol. It’s worked out and was a fun story but wish those were higher quality. Bunk house was great for the kids and def enough stuff in the kitchen for all our meal needs. Overall it was a great stay! And communication was great with Mason! »
