« This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail. »

« Man, I cannot say enough good things about Karl and his little cabin on the shore. This was our second time staying there, this time for two weeks. We stayed at Karl’s cabin three years ago right as it was coming online and we thought it was perfect then. Karl has since poured so much of his time into refinishing the woodwork, redoing the quaint little kitchen, replacing windows, and adding small conveniences to make our stay even better. I might add that Karl is a master carpenter so the cabin...

« Super fun house and spot. The views were amazing, sunsets, peaceful and quiet. This is a rustic seasonal home but we really loved it. A little chilly till we found some more blankets. There is a propane fireplace which heats it up quickly but I would not leave that on overnight. The second bedroom is in a separate little studio and so you need to go outside to go to the cottage to use the bathroom. Also we did not notice re the tap water not potable and we used for coffee and tea :) so...

« The view here is everything, as other reviews have stated! My kids loved the rocks to climb on and the private beach to look for shells. Although dated, the cottage itself had everything we needed for a family of four. The bright yellow carpet in the master bedroom was maybe the worst feature (it has seen better days!), but overall very clean and a great spot to stay for a few nights to enjoy the Maine coastal life. I would recommend this property! »
