Nos maisons d'hôte de charme à Bar Harbor

« We had an opportunity for a quick trip to see Acadia and this place was perfect. Close enough to Bar Harbor where we could eat and enjoy the scenery. Also close enough (only 4miles) to the park entrance which allowed us to do so much more. Breakfast daily (not some lame buffet with powdered eggs) good stuff made to order. Clean, quiet, and perfectly accommodating. Will stay here again. »

« Pas vraiment d'accueil en arrivant à l'hôtel. Une enveloppe avec nos coordonnées et les instructions pour le déroulement du séjour. Il faut s'inscrire pour le petit déjeuner à une heure précise. Ayant oublié de nous insrcire le second jour, en arrivant à la salle à manger à 8h40, il nous a été répondu que la cuisine était fermée. Pas même une tasse de thé ou de café nous a été proposée. Ayant payé plus de CHF 400.-/nuit, nous trouvons que c'est un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Dan, l'hôte...

« Good, clean property for 2. Could do up to 4 as there are two beds. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. We ran into a major traffic jam going back to the property from Bar Harbor. It was people heading home at the end of a holiday weekend. Not the property's fault, just wanted to inform. »

« We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road. »

« Cottage was very quaint, private and well equipped. Everything we needed was at the cottage or close by. Some unique features such as private porch and beach. Host very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely be a place we would return to. »

« The bath towels were of high quality but not white. It is a pet peeve of mine that when I use a common use towel I want them to be white so that they can have the ever-living daylights bleached out of them between guests. I did love that little gas fireplace. The furniture could have been arranged slightly different with two comfy chairs and a coffee table looking out over the harbor instead of the dining table which got almost no use from us due to the amount of really great food in walking...
