« They have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The property was so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed all the animals, it was fun to walk and look at them. « The Baker Farm house was beautiful and cozy. It was clean, well equipped and the location was wonderful. My daughter and her husband were able to bring their dogs which was great. « It was a short stay but would stay longer if the opportunity would arise. The chickens greeted us and they are beautiful. The place was very lovely and clean. Great place to visit. If you are from the city, you would enjoy the country. »

« It was like going back in time but with modern conveniences. We had the best time at this 200 plus year old house. Loved the wrap around porch for relaxing evenings. The hot tub was a huge hit. Relaxation for all to enjoy. Highly recommend this beautiful house. »

« Ideal location for a group motorcycle ride - a block off "The Green Eyed Snake" (highway 421); one of my all-time favorite roads. Also, many other great motorcycle roads in the area. We used the fire pit every night to relive the day's ride. »

« We loved being here and hope to return one day. It was a perfect getaway in a perfect location at the beginning of the Virginia Creeper Trail.The farmhouse was great with nice hot showers, outside fire pit and grill, plenty of games, TV, towels , relaxing porches, night time stars, and room to relax. We saw plenty of deer in our brief time there . Communication with the owner was easy as we both texted and called. Access to the wild ponies at Grayson Highlands and the views on Whitetop were...

« As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back! »
