« The Appartement layout was nice and modern. Make sure you realize you will be climbing 40 steps to the 3rd floor in very hot 100+ temps. The Appartement was dirty and there were roaches and tiny black ants everywhere. There was food on furniture, rug and in drawers. There was no product in the dispensers in one bathroom and no toilet paper anywhere upon arrival. Come prepared we did not. We contacted Landing and they offered us a cleaning, but never answered when we tried to schedule a...

7. < 1 Mi to Downtown Conroe: Charming Apartment

Conroe

« Pam was a wonderful, cummunicative host. There was a small problem with the property, and she worked to get it fixed immediately. She also made sure to check in, and keep us updated throughout the stay. The property was cute, easy to access, and was overall very nice! It's a little smaller than the photos make it look, but the curtains keep everything dark, and there is plenty of seating available. The property is not quiet like many reviews stated, however. During our stay, there were two...

« Retro Retreat is indeed a TREAT! From the location, 24/7 guarded entrance, to the covered carport, to the interior. Upon arrival, the 67 degree cool air was instant heaven. Every detail is thought through as though provided by a professional concierge. The closet is a walk-in with built-in shelves and a luggage rack for 2 jumbo suitcases. The swivel tv so thoughtful. « When we arrived we were unable to access the studio with our code. We reached out to the host and they quickly corrected it. This was appreciated. Upon entering the property we noticed that it did not match the pictures (nor amenities) listed online. It was newly renovated. Aesthetically it was nice, however there were issues. « I made the booking with expedia.com. And then VRBO is in there as well through an app. I expected the communication to come through the app. I get lots of spam in my email so when the property owner wrote me from his personal account… I never saw it. There was a very helpful neighbor that squared us away and then I did find the email later, so he did reach out to me… I just never saw it. Other than that, the property was wonderful and I have no complaints. »
