The ruins of the Belgium Coke Ovens inside Vinton Furnace Experimental Forest. The ovens were built to produce coke from coal to use in the iron furnace.

These structures at the Vinton site are thought to be the only existing ones in the world.

The original structure built in the 1850's included twenty-four ovens: seventeen of which remain standing.

Each oven is about 3 feet wide, 6 feet tall and 25 feet deep.
