« This was our third time staying at Avenwood. We enjoyed the first 2 stays but the third was not good. There was a power outage that went on all night. Due to the power outage there was a beeping noise that was not the smoke detector that just kept beeping and we couldn’t stop it. It disrupted our sleep and our all around relaxation. We reached out to have someone check it out and no one responded or came. It got to the point me and my husband decided to leave. On top of that my husband and I saw...

« Nice property with plenty of parking. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Great location to walk downtown. »

« We had a nice stay in the Lilac room at the Hyde house. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was made every morning and we enjoyed talking with other guests. »

« The keys had just been changed and didn't work for the room. I had to drive back to the check in location and was told that it was my error and I should meet with the cleaning lady. The cleaning lady watched me try and saw the keys did not work properly so she lent me hers. A bat was in our room and was flying around during our attempt at sleep. We had to catch it ourselves because no one was on the premises to assist. This caused a lack of sleep for about 2-3 hours. Food was mediocre. »

« This was far from an excellent experience, but not terrible. The room was clean and comfortable, but not well thought out. The TV was on the side of the room rather than a place where it could be watched from the bed, and local cable channels had not even been scanned for. The bathroom sink was clogged which we did report to management. And while the breakfast was adequate, the choices were limited. »

« Everything was great except breakfast was only from 8-9 so we were not able to enjoy it both days as we planned. Other than that everything was perfect! »
