This is one of over 150 falls in the town of Ithaca, home to Cornell university.
The Ithaca falls has a drop of 150 feet and is175 feet wide, and one of the most powerful waterfalls in the region. It supplied water to the around a 1/2 dozen mills that operated there in the 19th century. The plunge pool is popular among anglers who stop by for lake-run trout and salmon. #waterfalls #fishing

« We loved our stay in the suite! It was clean, cozy and worked perfectly for the two of us. The bathroom was great with the double vanity, a large walk-in shower plus a very modern washer and dryer. The whole unit is remodeled and very comfy! Our host Bryan was very nice and gave us great local recommendations (plus a bottle of wine)! Be ready to climb steep stairs, and the pillows are really big. »

« The apartment is lovely & was perfect for us. We enjoyed being able to cook in the well stocked kitchen after being on the road for 5 days. I especially loved the beautiful shower & having a second (partial) bathroom was handy. All appliances seemed to be newer & worked great. There are many wineries close by. We only visited a couple since we are not big wine drinkers. I especially enjoyed a horseback ride at Painted Bar Stables. »

« This was our second time staying at this property for a couples getaway in December, and it’s an absolutely perfect location for a weekend of wine tastings on Seneca Lane and visiting downtown Watkins Glen. It’s very modern and spacious with comfortable beds. We’d love to stay here in the spring and summer as well as the back looks ideal for grilling and playing games outside. « Branka is an excellent host. Apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Super clean, comfortable and nice and cozy warm (our visit was in December). Comfortable bed and soft towels. Loved her amenities from coffee/tea bar with snacks to bathroom supplies if you forgot anything. « Hi! Had a pretty good time at this location. Had everything we were looking for to make out time in the ithaca area pleasant. 2 small issues though. 1. The 'guest parking' accesses the property via a short but narrow flight of stone stairs which for an older person or someone with unsteady balance may be precarious.2. The owner who lives upstairs has at-least 1 cat and the rental space had a feline scent to it. As someone who is allergic to cats, that was an issue. I would recommend the owner...
