« Actually, everything was OK other than the master bedroom sheets we felt were still dirty. Found a lot hair on it. Ask the host about it. He said they would be willing to come over in the morning, but we actually had already went out and bought our own sheets. I asked to be compensated for that because we were very disgusted with that, but there was never any response from the host. Disappointed. »

« This home is such a surprise when you first get there everything feels nice and then you realize you’re not there alone. There’s a house/apartment off here left that a lady lives in that is not listed in the listing if you want privacy, this place is not it. They also have cameras inside the home one we seen in the window towards the Pool but indside but having kids that kind of makes you uneasy just with the worry of the world is today. « We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. « The host was easy to communicate with. In fact, a massive storm hit the area and she immediately got the pool guy to come over the day after Christmas to get the debris out of the pool. Our family enjoyed the pool while we were there. »

« Our stay was disappointing as the pictures are deceiving. The living area and back yard are a good size but the guest bedrooms are small. The interior is dated and in need of repairs and new paint. Transitions between the different floor treatments are broken or missing creating a possible trip hazard. The kitchen was minimally stocked with pots and pans and there were exactly 6 place settings for dining purposes making cooking and eating difficult. The host did respond to concerns of ours but...

« It was very convenient and clean. Quiet neighborhood, would highly recommend it.(Except 1 night the keyless entry lock wouldn’t work (batteries were dead) I had to replace them at my expense. Also had to spend that night at my work because of the lock not working, nearby hotels were full, it was late and the host replied the next morning. I feel I should have been credited 1 night. Other than that the host was very accommodating, very nice. »
