The little Grand Canyon of Georgia
Providence Canyon is nicknamed Georgia's Little Grand Canyon. I think it is aptly named. I had been here about 25 years ago, but really wanted to go back. It is in the middle of nowhere, so I have been waiting for a reason to head down this direction. If you go, I would highly recommend canyon 4&5. This is the view above the canyon, which you can walk through at the bottom! If you would like to know more: http://gastateparks.org/ProvidenceCanyon
Walking through the canyon you can really get a view of the walls and colors of the rocks.
