« Our adult children were in Minnesota for the holidays, and we came to this lovely VRBO for some quiet time away from normal hubbub, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, time to cook and play board games together, a puzzle room in Alexandria, and a hike at Lake Carlos State Park. Everything was very clean and in good working order. »

« Loved the peaceful and isolated setting. Exactly as described. Our only complaints were: 1. There were a few Asian beetles which really surprised us since it is winter and 2. The front door had no key or entrance keypad, so if you wanted to leave and lock the house, you would always have to go through the garage using the garage door opener and then entry to the house through the attached garage. « The farm is beautiful and peaceful, a real balm for your weary soul. The house was super clean, comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked so you can do any cooking. The bed is perfect. Reading a book on the front porch was my favorite part of the day. The lake was wonderful to watch various birds. Our dog liked being able to come with us. This house and farm are well loved and it shows. I would move in. Thanks for a great stay! »
